About Coach Keri

Like us all, I wear many hats. I’m a Follower of Christ, mom, only daughter (did you hear the pride in that?), writer, runner, entrepreneur, boss, friend, student, survivor, Wonder Woman, and then some! Whew!

I’ve lived in many cities around the country, but currently I’m in love with Dallas, TX. My faith and family are very important to me. They motivate, challenge and support me. I am so thankful for them. It is also important for me to learn, grow and develop, and to help others do the same. One of the best things that I could have done was branched out as a Team Beachbody Coach. I knew that I had lost 30lbs with Insanity, and I wanted to help others do the same. Additionally, I was laid off from a previous employer and didn’t like that feeling at all. So, I did something about it. I decided to work for myself on the side. That way my family wouldn’t be completely devastated by another lay-off. It serves as a safety net that provides additional income, keeps me accountable to meet my health goals, and allows me to help others lose weight and reach their financial goals.

I enjoy writing and only learned that this was a talent from God a few years ago. Previously I viewed it as just something I could do. I thought pretty much anyone could do it. Then I came to see that it’s a talent to be able to convey messages to various people through multiple forms of media. I also had to digest that I have a message. Whether it is a message of hope and courage, health and well-being, or social change and equal rights, I have a message to share and I am obligated to do so. There was a time I was more concerned about who would want to read what I wrote or listen to me, and now my focus is on sharing and allowing the rest to follow as it should.

My hope is that we start a dialogue here. Sit back, relax & subscribe to my blog.  Open up and share with me and I will with you.
